My name is Louise Jenness, and I am an avid plant lover and botanist. I discovered my fascination with plants when I was in my early teens, collecting and growing houseplants. Now, I am in my early twenties and my love for plants has only grown. Throughout my teenage years and into college, I have had the opportunity to work at a summer camp in the Shawnee National Forest, on an organic farm off Long Island, New York, and at the UC Davis Botanical Conservatory where I simultaneously graduated with my bachelors in Plant Biology. Through these experiences and my own independent research, I have gotten to explore and learn about plants from so many different angles. As I step out of school and into the real world, I want to make sure that I continue on this path.
